2018 Hyundai Elantra Receives New Trim & Updates

2018 Hyundai Elantra

The sixth-generation 2018 Hyundai Elantra will land in Arlington later this year with a collection of fresh updates across the roster. One of the most notable changes is the arrival of the brand-new SEL trim, which replaces the SE model, and comes with a host of features modern car buyers will appreciate.

For the new model year, all Elantra models now come with a machine gray exterior color option and standard Blue Link for three years. Additionally, the Limited trim gains an auto-dimming rearview mirror with Blue Link and HomeLink, and gloss black interior accents, while the Sport receives a standard power sunroof, Lane Change Assist and Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross-traffic alert. All other previously available trims continue to feature the same top components found on last year’s model.

The brand-new SEL trim lands on the market sporting 16-inch alloy wheels, heated outside mirrors and four-wheel disc brakes. It also comes with a seven-inch display audio system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a 3.5-inch mono cluster display, auto headlamp control and rear cup holders. Select safety tech, including Rear Cross-traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist and Blind Spot Detection are standard on the model.
