Due to its range of high-quality features, safety functions and efficient powertrains, the Sonata was an easy choice for the notable title. Edmunds put the Sonata through a series of road tests to see how it compared to the competition before crowning it a Top Rated Vehicle. It was one of over 200 cars evaluated in ten different categories, but when push came to shove, only models that received an "A" rating were named Top Rated Vehicles. The 2015 Hyundai Sonata passed with flying colors thanks to innovative features, such as frontal collision warning, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system.

Although the 2015 Sonata's safety features are among its best assets, earning it a Top Safety Pick+ award, the sedan also sports an exquisite design and top-notch handling.
