The 2014 SEMA show in Las Vegas is just weeks away and Hyundai has been busy gearing up to present attendees with an incredible reveal they won't forget: a 708-horsepower flex-fuel Sonata! Created through a partnership with Bisimoto Engineering, the powered up 2015 Sonata is a Hyundai-lovers dream. With outstanding reliability and extensive capabilities, the model is sure to turn heads when it's revealed at the SEMA press conference on Nov. 4 and we can't wait to see the finished product!
No stranger to teaming up with Hyundai, Bisimoto Engineering developed a 1,000 horsepower Hyundai model for last year's SEMA show. This time around they decided to switch things up by using a 2015 Sonata for their 2014 project and the results were amazing. The innovative team took Hyundai's 2.4L "Theta-II" four-cylinder engine and added a collection of new internal features, such as new camshafts and connecting rods, which would support its production of 708 horsepower. Bisimoto engineers then aligned the engine with a six-speed manual transmission, completing the transformation. They also outfitted the sedan with a custom wrap, 18-inch aluminum wheels and a variety of athletic interior components, enhancing its overall look.
You may have to wait until Nov. 9 to get a look at the modified 708-horsepower Sonata, but in the meantime, you can head down to Vandergriff Hyundai and get a glimpse of the standard 2015 Hyundai Sonata available now. We have a wonderful team of trained specialists who would be more than happy to show you its exquisite features, so stop by anytime - we look forward to seeing you!
