The all-new Santa Cruz Crossover Truck Concept has been created for drivers who appreciate the capabilities of a CUV, but require the flexibility of a truck bed. Mirroring the size of a CUV, the concept can easily make its way around the city, but also comes with an open bed than can be expanded when needed. Drivers can fit bikes and outdoor gear in the bed when going on urban adventures or keep luggage and duffle bags in the back covered by a tonneau. It can also be expanded to haul larger items, such as furniture, when needed, accommodating drivers at all times.
Fitted with a 2.0L turbo diesel engine, delivering 190 horsepower and 300 lb.-ft. of torque, the concept also delivers optimal performance. It can produce an EPA-estimated 30 mpg and is mated with an all-wheel-drive system, making trips to snowy states during the winter an easy feat. With seating for five passengers, the Santa Cruz can even haul a group of your friends with no problems. Rear-hinged rear doors have also been integrated to make climbing in and out of the rear seat a breeze.
