The Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport are two of the brand’s most popular SUV models, and in an effort to further increase their appeal for the 2017 model year, Hyundai gave the Santa Fe lineup quite the update. From the inside out, the Santa Fe has been heavily enhanced and now features a variety of new features and components that put it ahead of the competition. Available now at Vandergriff Hyundai, the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport are perfect options for you and your family.
Both the three-row Santa Fe and two-row Santa Fe Sport feature get many of the same upgrades for 2017. Starting with the exterior, the models are offered with new 17-, 18-, and 19-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running light and LED fog lights. Each car’s front fascia, grille, and headlights have also been redesigned, while new rocker panel trim has been added to further enhance appearance.
On the inside of the SUVs, a standard 5-inch color LCD can be found, along with a redesigned center stack and a standard review camera. On the three-row Santa Fe, a 7-inch touchscreen is standard and a matte-finish interior wood grain is featured on the leather-equipped model, giving the cabin a premium look and feel. Aside from these additions, both models are available with a range of fresh safety features, including lane departure warning, smart cruise control, automatic emergency braking and dynamic bending lights, to name a few. A multi-view camera system can also be installed, allowing drivers to get a good view of the car’s surroundings.
The 2017 Santa Fe is powered by a 3.3L V6, delivering 290 horsepower, while the Santa Fe Sport receives a 2.4L four-cylinder with direct-injection, generating 185 horsepower. A 2.0L four-cylinder, exerting 240 horsepower, is also offered on the model. All powertrains come backed with a six-speed automatic transmission.
