Hyundai’s newly established N sub-brand is already setting its sights on developing new high-performance cars that will go head to head against some of the industry’s leading luxury car manufacturers. BMW will be the brand’s first target, and according to sources, they have plans to take on the none other than the M4.

Car and Driver was the automotive source that spilled the beans about the N brand’s decision to build a powerful vehicle that could compete with the BMW M4. The car will be a two-door model and lean toward the sporty side when it comes to performance. Car enthusiasts can expect to experience exceptional handling and a chock ton of power behind the wheel of the upcoming vehicle. A 3.3L twin-turbo V6 engine is likely to end up underneath the hood of the performance car and it’s prospected to deliver enough to power to rival the BMW M4’s engine, which currently churns out 425 horsepower.

Before the BMW M4-figther is built by Hyundai’s N badge, the sub-brand is slated to develop a high-performance i30 hatchback model that will eventually land on the market. As of now, there’s has been now news regarding when N will launch either model, but we hope to receive information in the near future.
