We are honored to reveal that the 2016 Hyundai Tucson has received an award as a part of the J.D. Power 2016 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study. The popular model beat out all competitors in the Small SUV category, proving it’s one of the best crossovers currently on the North American market.
“We are thrilled with the recognition of Tucson in this year’s J.D. Power APEAL study,” said Scott Margason, director, product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “The new Tucson looks great, has two fuel efficient engines and a roomy interior that satisfies a wide range of SUV buyers. The team did a great job launching the all-new Tucson this year.”
Held for over 21 years, J.D. Power’s study uses surveys to find out how new owners feel about their recent car purchases. A total of 77 different attributes are used to figure out just how well a car meets their expectations and which areas need improvement.
The 2016 Hyundai Tucson performed in most categories featured in the survey, including fuel economy, seating, exterior, HVAC, storage, interior, driving and entertainment. If that’s not impressive, we invite you to come down to Vandergriff Hyundai to see it in person and test out its performance capabilities.
