Recent reports from Reuters suggest Hyundai is on the verge of developing a single-seat EV and an electric scooter that could make their way to the market in the near future. Different from any other products currently in Hyundai’s lineup, these two potential mobile platforms would receive a warm welcome from Hyundai fans and sit nicely in the brand’s roster.
With word circulating that Hyundai is going to start investing more money into future mobility projects that don’t necessarily revolve around new cars, it’s likely rumors swirling about an upcoming electric scooter and single-seat EV could be true. The automaker has already said they plan on “increasing mobility freedom” for people, which also plays right into rumors about the two new mobile products.
Outside of these small inklings and reports, we have not received official word from Hyundai regarding the rumored single-seat EV and electric scooter. We hope to receive a statement from the automaker soon, and when one comes to light, we will be sure to keep you updated via our blog.
