Traders Village in Grand Prairie, Texas, will be holding their very own Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016. Offering FREE admission to the public, the seasonal event will celebrate German culture and everything it has to offer, including popular music, food, drinks and attire. Be sure to bring the whole family along – there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
Just a short distance from Arlington, Traders Village is the perfect place to go to celebrate Oktoberfest. During the daylong affair, guests are welcome to dress in their favorite lederhosen or dirndl and take part in all the festival’s activities. There will be plenty of live entertainment to enjoy, including a performance from local polka favorites, the Alpine Village Band, at the Big Red Patio concert venue located next to the family entertainment area. Delectable German food will also be available for purchase, such as spicy sauerkraut, German potato salad and bratwursts.
In addition to the music and food, attendees will be able to shop at Traders Village during the event and go for a spin on one of the many rides featured onsite. This includes Pharaoh’s Fury, Star Dancer, Bouncer, Scrambler, the Carousel and the brand-new Fleafall!
