Hyundai Motor Group Deploys XCIENT Hydrogen Fuel Cell Trucks for HMGMA Clean Logistics

Hyundai Motor Group is furthering its commitment to a greener future. Working with Glovis America, it has recently introduced 21 Hyundai XCIENT hydrogen-powered electric semi-trucks to facilitate clean logistics operations. Hyundai reports that these zero-emission trucks will carry vehicle parts from suppliers in the region to its Metaplant facility.

Initially, a temporary hydrogen refueling station will be in use, but a permanent station will eventually be built on-site. This endeavor has the potential to revolutionize the trucking industry, as hydrogen emits far fewer pollutants than diesel and other fuels.
