Starting with the base model, the Veloster 2.0 provides a standard 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Upgrading to the 2.0 Premium adds on a few upgrades to the features, including wireless device charging, heated front seats, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, and an upgraded audio system.

The Turbo R-Spec, Turbo and Turbo Ultimate are trims oriented for a sportier driving experience. Different from the 2.0 and 2.0 Premium, these trims offer turbocharged engines as standard. Other features among these trims include sport-tuned suspension and performance tires on the Turbo R-Spec, Sport front seats in the Turbo and upgraded amenities such as an integrated navigation system and leather seats in the Turbo Ultimate.

The base engine on the 2021 Veloster is a 2.0-liter inline-4 cylinder engine that delivers 147 HP and 132 LB-FT. of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. When selecting any of the Turbo trims, you'll get a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-4 cylinder engine that can output up to 201 HP and 195 LB-FT. of torque. This engine is only available with a six-speed manual transmission that allows for more control and connection to the road.
