2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Exterior

What's New for the 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Hyundai completely redesigned the Santa Fe just a few years ago and has opted not to make major changes to the 2023 model. Drivers can now choose between several additional color options, and there are also changes in terms of what amenities come standard with the different trim levels. Specifically, some features like adaptive cruise control and a power tailgate that were only available on the highest trim levels are now standard on most trim levels.

What Are the 2023 Santa Fe Trims & Features?

The Santa Fe offers the choice of five trim packages. The base SE doesn't offer the same frills as the other packages, but it still includes an 8-inch color touchscreen display and built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Drivers that opt for the SEL, XRT, Calligraphy, or Limited packages can enjoy a larger 10.3-inch display as well as additional amenities like push-button start, heated front seats, and wireless device charging. The Calligraphy package also includes larger 20-inch alloy wheels and beautiful Nappa leather-appointed quilted seats.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Santa Fe Have?

The Santa Fe offers two different engines depending on trim level. Drivers that choose the SE, SEL, or XRT package will have a 191-horsepower, 2.5-liter I-4 engine. The Calligraphy and Limited packages feature a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline V4 that delivers 281 horsepower that enables you to rocket from 0 to 60 in just 6.2 seconds. All models have an 8-speed transmission and are available in your choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

What Safety Features Does the 2023 Santa Fe Include?

Even the base Santa Fe SE has a ton of excellent safety features like a safe exit assist, automatic front emergency braking, lane following assist, and driver attention warning. Drivers looking for even more safety features may want to upgrade to one of the higher trim levels. These include things like navigation-based smart cruise control, reverse and forward parking distance warning, and highway driving assist. The 2022 Santa Fe earned top marks from the IIHS and the NHTSA, and the 2023 model will likely do the same thanks to its wide range of important safety features.
