The Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell recently roamed across the California desert's Soggy Dry Lake Bed, where it set a brand-new land speed record for a production hydrogen-powered SUV. The zero-emissions vehicle, which only outputs clean water vapor, is the world's first mass-produced fuel cell CUV and is currently on sale in California, with hopes of production expanding to additional U.S. locations in the future.

During recent testing at Soggy Dry Lake Bed, the Tucson Fuel Cell set a 96.6 mph land speed record for a vehicle of its caliber. Due to its powerful yet fuel-efficient powertrain and exceptional ground clearance, the crossover effortlessly galloped across the desert landscape, proving its capabilities are on par with gas-powered CUVs and don't waiver due to its fuel cell underpinnings. In fact, boasting easy access to the rear hatch and fold-down seats that maximize cargo space, the Tucson Fuel Cell is an excellent option for drivers in need of a versatile crossover. It also touts a 265-mile driving range and can be refueled in a matter of minutes, making it a better choice than most gas models on the market today.
While the fuel cell is not available at Vandergriff Hyundai at this time, we do have the standard 2016 Hyundai Tucson in stock. Come in to take a look at the attractive crossover and find out information about its first-class offerings.
