The new Sonata is available in Base, SE, Sport, Eco, Limited, Sport 2.0T and Limited 2.0T trims. Engine Options

Buyers get the choice of three engines - all of which have been given high marks by 2017 Hyundai Sonata reviews. A 2.4-liter four-cylinder that's rated at 185 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque is standard on the base, SE, Sport and Limited trims. It can sprint from 0-60 miles per hour in just 8.2 seconds.

Next up is the 2.0-liter turbo found in all 2.0T models. It is the most powerful of the bunch, capable of putting out 245 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The Eco gets fitted with a 1.6-liter turbo that makes 178 horses and 195 pound-feet of torque. All models get a six-speed automatic, with the exception of the Eco; it gets a seven-speed automatic.

Safety Takes Priority

The 2017 Hyundai Sonata in Arlington comes with a number of safety features. Standard, it gets antilock brakes, front-seat side airbags, a driver knee airbag, and traction and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert can be had on the Limited and Limited 2.0T models.
