What's New For the 2020 Hyundai Tucson?
In 2020, the Hyundai Tucson does not get many changes from the previous model year. However, it still has much to offer consumers in many different areas. The Hyundai Tucson's exterior is a winning combination of sporty and sophisticated, making it equally adept for the city streets and off-road driving. Signature LED lights illuminate the Tucson's front end, while several different wheel styles distinguish one trim level from the next.
Automatic headlights are standard. Inside, the Tucson's cabin features high-end materials and amenities. The latest Tucson comes equipped with a long list of standard features even at the base level, such as a seven-inch infotainment display screen, USB charging ports, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. While the base trim also has plenty of driver-assist safety technology, you add even more safety features by moving up in trim level. A choice of engines completes Tucson's list of offerings in 2020.

What Features are Available for 2020?
The 2020 Hyundai Tucson comes in six trims, starting with the SE. It gets a standard seven-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and smartphone integration. The SE also features a six-speaker audio system and a height-adjustable driver's seat. Its exterior stands out with 17-inch alloy wheels and automatic headlights. The Value trim follows with heated front seats, keyless entry and ignition, Hyundai's own Blue Link communication system, and satellite radio. On the outside, it adds heated mirrors and roof rails.
The SEL has innovative styling accents along the exterior and larger 18-inch wheels. Its cabin gets dual-zone climate control and a USB port in the back row. This trim is powered by a larger engine. The Sport edition adds fog lights to the front and LED tail lights in the back. It also has a hands-free liftgate, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and wireless smartphone charging. The Limited gets leather upholstery, a 360-degree backup camera, a power-adjustable passenger's seat, and a heated steering wheel.
The Ultimate, which tops the line, adds automatic high beams and automatic wipers. Its interior features an updated driver display center, heated seats in the back row, a panoramic sunroof, and a larger eight-inch touchscreen display. This trim has more standard safety technology as well.
2020 Tucson Powertrain Options
There are two engines available for the 2020 Hyundai Tucson. The base engine has four cylinders and a displacement of 2.0L. Its top power output reaches 161 HP at 6,200 RPM. It also produces up to 150 LB-FT of torque up to 4,700 RPM. The second engine, which comes standard on the SEL trim and up, has a greater power output of 181 HP at 6,00 RPM. It also produces up to 175 LB-FT of torque at 4,000 RPM. Both engines are connected to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard on all trim levels, while all-wheel drive is available.
Packed with Safety Features
Starting with the basics such as a front crumple zone and reinforced body panels, you have some indication of Tucson's safety profile. The SUV also comes with a number of driver-assist safety aids, including forward-collision mitigation, lane-keep assist, and driver attention warning. Pedestrian detection and smart cruise control are standard on certain trims.
