The Hyundai Elantra gets fully redesigned for 2021 with an all-new lower, wider and more aggressive look. While it offers many new standard features in 2021, the Hyundai Elantra still provides exceptional value. This model year's design also includes a slightly larger cabin area, providing more space for passengers in the back row and adding a little more room in the cargo area. The Hyundai Elantra is rigged with more standard safety features in 2021, and it comes with even more safety technology on the higher-level trims. New to the Elantra lineup is the Elantra Hybrid, which provides commendable mileage.

2021 Elantra Trims & Features

The interior cabin is highlighted by a number of technology features and amenities, such as the 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and an 8-inch touchscreen that works wirelessly to offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Opting for a higher trim on the Elantra will offer drivers an available upgrade to a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment that matches the 10.25-inch information display cluster. Other interior features include a driver-oriented layout, complete with a high center console and a customizable 64-color mood lighting.

The Hyundai Elantra's lower and wider design showcases a four-door-coupe-like appearance. The front of the 2021 Elantra details a parametric-jewel-pattern grille and a slightly elongated hood. A bold edge design is detailed from front to the back of the Elantra, tapering off in the rear with its high tech "H-Tail Lamp."

All trims of the 2021 Elantra offer the 2.0L engine with a power output of 147 HP and 132 LB-FT of torque. This year, the Elantra also gets a hybrid powertrain that combines a 32 kW electric motors and 1.6L four-cylinder gasoline-powered engine. The hybrid combination creates a top power output of 139 HP. The Elantra gets an automatic transmission with smooth-shifting technology with both engines.

Many safety features are standard on the Elantra with the SmartSense suite of safety technologies. All trims have lane keep assist, advanced airbags, and forward collision warning. Adaptive cruise control, rear collision avoidance, and blind-spot monitoring are added on the top Elantra trims.
