What's New For the 2020 Hyundai Elantra?

For 2020, the Hyundai Elantra is ready to set new industry standards when it comes to fuel efficiency with standard 2.0 liter 4 cylinder models set to average over 40 mpg on the highway. The new Elantra will also replace the previous six-speed automatic transmission with a Continuously Variable Transmission(CVT). Here are more of the exciting features for the new Elantra.

Hyundai is offering 10 different trim styles and configurations for the 2020 Elantra to include the SE, SE w/SULEV, SEL, SEL w/SULEV, the Value Edition, Eco, Limited, and Sport method. The new model also includes 8 color options so you can select the style that fits your needs. The new vehicle includes many convenient features that make the driving experience more enjoyable. The Elantra includes features like an 8-inch color touchscreen with the navigation system, dual automatic temperature control, 6-way power and height adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support, tilt-and-slide power sunroof, and illuminated ignition switch. The new model also features a steering wheel with a tilt-and-telescopic system, hands-free Bluetooth phone system, auxiliary input jacks, Apple CarPlay support and a SiriusXM Satellite Radio with 6 speaker system.

2020 Hyundai Elantra Exterior FrontThe new Elantra is set to feature a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine along with an advanced continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The new CVT design replaces the old six-speed automatic transmission to provide an improvement in gas mileage and fuel efficiency. The improvements in the engine along with the new CVT provide up to 201 horsepower. The Elantra also offers a 1.4 liter and a 1.6 liter 4 cylinder engine for improved performance. The Eco and Sport models of the new Elantra are designed with a turbocharged I4 engine with dual clutch seven-speed transmission for even more power and performance.

The Safe Exit provides a warning alarm if it is not safe to open the door to get out if a vehicle is approaching from behind. The driver attention warning helps to keep the driver alerted in case of driver fatigue and the forward collision-avoidance assist warns drivers in case there are any potential collision situations.
